In the spring of 2015, Founders Justin & Melissa built their very own tiny home with the help of their incredible community of friends, tiny house enthusiasts, and River City Tiny Homes. Their build was aired on the TV show Tiny House Nation (Season 3, episode 9 – 180 sq.ft. Backpack House) in just seven days!

We lived in our house for five years and then sold it to someone who lost their home in the nearby Paradise fire as our family expanded. We hope to build another tiny home in the future!
