What would you think
And what would you do
If your child wanders far
To ride bikes in Peru
Would you follow her there
On a sneezlebox flight?
With her brother in tow
I don’t know… you just might
In that far away land
Where the clouds meet the mountains
And lost cities still stand?
(Machu Picchu Movie!)
With your jaw on the ground
Or perhaps make new friends
Who with colors abound
Justin, Missy and Mike
Where you all can sleep tight
You awake for your birthday
A most special of days
By dear Rena from LA!
And there’s more, you will see
As you plan how to play
When your hostel hosts give you
A singing start to your day!
(Birthday Movie!)
Ring loud from the plaza
A parade is in progress
And next we adventure
To a chocolate museum
And make chocolates (and then eat them!)
After a day of fun
Justin and Melissa share stories
Where strangers aren’t rude
We hear of their travels
With their wits and their strength
They must know I’m a fan!
Our visit was brief
We learned much from our date
But the memories are great!
(Farewell Movie!)

Hey – thanks Deborah for such a fabulous sliver of life, of you and Michael joining up on the trail with Melissa and Justin. Also happy Belated birthday to you, Deborah. And Melissa and Justin – you’re just so amazing. And an inspiration – to get out and embrace this wonderfully precious gift of life that we all have been given. Love to ya – Uncle Frank

Hey Missy and Justin:
I am finally able to leave a message here. I tried many times but wasn’t successful.
I love the pictures when you spent time with your Mom and Michael. I was so excited that Mike was going to come too.
I love reading your blog and seeing your photos. You are on an amazing adventure. I send you both hugs and lots and lots of love. Take good care of yourselves! Eat wisely and have fun!!
My love, Grandma
